Few weeks after picking a spot on iTunes hot songs list , Ghanaian Afro-Trap and Afrobeats singer DarkoVibes bobs up on another chart list on iTunes with his Kuvie near pure acoustic production – Tomorrow. Aside earning spots on music charts , Tomorrow is receiving colossal airplay across radio stations nationwide . One major component about this song as well which makes one love it as soon as its been aired or played is its relatable lyrics. The predominant concept behind Tomorrow is Darko’s renounce for Instagram Girls and rather focusing on harboring his relationship with the woman he loves.
On “Tomorrow” also, he tries to convince his woman she’s the only one who does it for him while begging her to stay with him through thick and thin. He slips between language barriers, inserting choice lines of Twi and Ga while trying to convince her. Kuvie and Vacs’s Additive Synthesis coupled with Darko’s language choice makes it impossible not to notice the influence of Ghanaian Highlife, one of the forerunners of the genre in West Africa . DarkoVibes is currently in the studio working tirelessly on his debut album dubbed PLACEBO. Below is munch of Darko’s spot on iTunes World Chart (Africa) .
