MajorLeagueDjz ft. Vigro Deep, Stonebwoy & LuuDadeejay -Yekambo
Award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has made contributions on Major League DJZ’s latest studio album ‘Outside’. Stonebwoy was featured on the Amapiano song titled ‘Yekambo’ alongside LuuDadeejay and Vigro Deep.
Major League DJZ have been making the waves with various instalments of their highly sought-after mix series “Amapiano Live Balcony Mix”. They also introduced “Piano City” and toured Africa and the world delivering live mix sessions that have earned them so much eulogies from the fans. Whiles on tour, Major League DJZ used the opportunity to connect with some of the hottest acts in the countries they visited.
Kofi Kinaata – Wo Pre
Award-winning Ghanaian rapper and singer-songwriter, Kofi Kinaata makes his first attempt at Amapiano in his latest solo effort titled ‘Wo Pre’.
The song ‘Wo Pre’ is an exciting tune with an intriguing storyline to it. The song is themed around people who live under pretence or what is widely called ‘Fake Life’ on social media.
Furthermore, Kofi Kinaata shows how talented he is by re-introducing listeners to his rap prowess which is probably not known to many.
On the production front, Takoradi-based award-winning record producer Willisbeatz handled the sound engineering of the tune.
Offei ft. Amartey – Believe
Diversified & Multi-skilled vocalist, Derrick OFFEI-Awuku extensively known by his craft as OFFEI has been harnessing his musical adroitness into a really packaged product for his loyal fans across the world.
Him being a great singer, songwriter and guitarist speaks volume about his calefaction so far whilst behind the scenes connecting the dots. AfroFusion thus; a blend of Highlife, Hiplife, Pop and R&B is how he terms his line of music.
Growing up in Tema also helped aggregate his influences so far as music in concerned. His 2020 smash hit Fi Mano featured Nigerian musical gem, Patoranking and Ghanaian Legendary group Blackstone and that also shot him into the public eye.
“Believe” is the brand new Amapiano inspired melody OFFEI has unleashed off his “Butterfly Season” EP.
Another prolific Ghanaian-Netherlands based singer, Amartey is he featured act on the “Believe” tune produced by Enoch Woode with additional live instrumentation by Joshua Moszi and Ekow Sax on the Guitar and Sax respectively.
Furthermore, Believe is a whole masterpiece composed and well- crafted on a good instrumentation, it vividly expresses the values, virtues and belief of love as a pivotal tool in life.
Kojo Manuel ft. Kelvyn Boy & Nektunez – Waiting
Popular Ghanaian Hype man and radio presenter , Kojo Manuel has helmed the Amapiano culture ever since it found it’s footing in Ghana. Being the master of ceremony of what is currently the biggest Amapiano event series in Ghana dubbed ‘Amapiano & Brunch’ held from time to time at Front/Back in Osu is a corroboration of his crucial role in the promotion of genre.
Correspondingly to the course of pursuing his love for Amapiano, he teams up with Afrobeat/Afro-dancehall artist Kelvyn Boy alongside talented record producer Nektunez for this Amapiano inspired record tiled ‘Waiting’.
DJ Xclusive ft. L.A.X – No Lele
Prolific Nigerian disc jockey and record producer, DJ Xclusive adds a new number to his impressive discography titled ‘No Lele’, an Afrobeat tune with Amapiano sentiments featuring Rasaki frontman L.A.X.
Lil Kesh ft. Zinoleesky – Don’t Call Me
Nigerian Afrobeat artist, Lil Kesh calls off his hiatus with a new feel good tune titled ‘Don’t Call Me‘ featuring Marlian Music poster boy Zinoleesky.
‘Don’t Call Me’ is an amapiano inspired song which conveys the message of living your best life whenever the opportunity presents itself.
With regards to the production of the song, talented Nigerian producer Young John and Niphkeys jointly engineered the song.
