Coronavirus cases rises to 1,042 in Ghana

The Ghana Health Service announced the COVID-19 cases has hit four figures (1,042) from the backlog of laboratory samples which were picked for testing for COVID-19.

According to them, the total number of tested samples at the moment stands at 68,591 with 1.52% testing positive of the deadly virus in Ghana.

Nonetheless, “the results of these backlog of samples when released does not mean the number of new cases recorded on the day of the report.”

Furthermore, it was reported that, Areas which have reported cases still remains Greater Accra, Ashanti, Easter, Northern, Volta, Upper East, upper West, Central, Western and North East regions.
