Don’t consider songs as old, keep pushing it. - Abban

Sensational Reggae Musician signed to Irie Ites Studio, Abban has addressed a particular issue which seems to be hindering the progress of the Music Industry.

The “Agoro” hitmaker communicated his dismay at some industry players who now and then group previously released songs from artiste as ‘Old’ as he doesn’t see his songs as such. He put forth this expression on Oliv Radio’s extraordinary Vals Day Interview yesterday, February 14 when asked about the projects he will be embarking on this year.

“Since last year we dropped a couple of songs and pushed it. This year is not different, we will push it more this year as well.

In Ghana we have the perception that when you release a song the previous year, it becomes old, making it look impossible to promote the next and subsequent years. But we don’t have to really treat songs like that. Some songs take time to settle, so this year one of my priorities is to push my previous songs to reach wider audience. If it reached a million last year, it should reach two million this year” he said.

Abban proceeded to announce his excitement about the up and coming VGMA’s as he has high hopes he will land a nomination this year event.
