#EndSars: How Celebrities across the world reacted to the #LekkiMassacre
On the night of 20 October 2020, Nigerian Armed Forces shot at End SARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, Nigeria.
The number of casualties is disputed, with the Nigerian government claiming one possible death while Amnesty International stated that 12 protesters were killed.
Following a massacre that took place at Lekki in Nigeria on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, celebrities took to popular digital platform, Twitter and Instagram to express their utmost concern over the situation.
International celebrities such as Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union and Beyonce among others called on the Nigerian government to listen to the plea of the people against police brutality happening in the country.
