Highlife singer and songwriter, Kofi Kinaata nabbed the ultimate award at the third edition of the annual 3Music Awards organized by the 3Media Networks.
The songwriter extraordinaire on the night of the event won the ‘Song of the Year’ with his raving success single, ‘Things Fall Apart‘ which was produced by highly rated producer, Two Bars.
He beat Fameye, KelvynBoy, Kwesi Arthur, Sarkodie and others to the award.
‘Things Fall Apart’ was arguably one of the biggest and well produced songs which was on rotation across the length and breath of the country and the globe due to its lyrical appeal.
Kofi Kinaata also took home the Hip-Life act of the year plaque on the night.
The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, May 2 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair in Accra and was streamed live on Joy Prime and 3Music’s social media handles due to the ban on public gatherings amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
