The Year of Return exceeded expectations with people from all walks enjoying Accra and its culture but most outstanding was the nightlife which was totally insane with some of the biggest acts in the world hitting the shores of Accra. Regardless, December was only a small portion of Kojo Manuel’s busy year.
From co-hosting TINAFest 2019 alongside Eddie Kadi, through various campus activations and concerts to hosting Boiler Room Accra, assisting Infinix outdoor Shatta Wale at their concert and celebrating Guinness Smooth with Efia Odo, also showing his class at Standard Chartered’s SC Connect party, turning up with the waves at Tidal Rave and showing his true colours at Ballantines True Africa Music party, not forgetting a memorable performance at the 2019 edition of Ghana Meet Naija and hosting the CloseUp Cool Breeze Zone at the VGMAs, its been an amazing year!
We’re not even done!
He also turned up African Leaders at the African Leaders Network Closing Party, interviewed Davido at the Sony Music and Friends Hangout, represented Ghana at Afronation Ghana alongside DJ Vyrusky, turned the Bukom Arena upside down hosting Manifestivities 2019 with Manifest which was also headlined by Adekunle Gold and Burna Boy.
Manny Yo was on point at the LiveSpot X Festival with Cardi B, hosted DJ cuppy with Maybelline cosmetics, Detty Rave, Afrochella, The FanYogo Cocopine Island Party, Shatta Wale’s Wonder Boy Concert, La meme Gang’s Crusade Concert, Joey B’s Darryl & Friends Concert and many more, just not to bore you.

Aside winning the Best MC award at the Ghana DJ Awards, he is single-handedly the only MC that seems to have the perfect synergy between brand awareness and having a great party!
We have watched Kojo Manuel grow from an awesome hype man to a carefully measured interviewer and energy source, literally!

In the year under review, he has stepped up as the host of Party Pressure on YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio station.

Keep doing you, Manny Yo! Cheers to all the success and we wish you even more in 2020!
