Ground Up Chale afrobeat singer and songwriter, Kwesi Arthur donated large amount of Books to Students in Kumasi ahead of his “One Cedi and a Dream” Concert.

The BET Award Nominee in a post on his Instagram handle revealed he felt obliged to give back to the Society because it has been his dream to inspire and motivate other Children to have a dream.

“I have always wanted my journey to inspire kids in my neighbourhood, but damnnn today was emotional! school children in kumasi singing and chanting my lyrics like i’m not just a boy from tema! kumasi reminded me of why i do it! i donated the books to these schools, because that’s me investing in the future of this country! the children are our hope and we thank God i can help them dream!” he wrote.

Kwesi Arthur presented the Books to Junior and Senior High Schools within the vicinity and encouraged them to study hard in order achieve their goals in life.

Kwesi Arthur is set to host his own Concert themed, “One Cedi and a Dream” on the 22nd of December at the Kumasi Rattary Park.
