Most secular artistes often flaunt the fleet of cars they have, their mansions, huge sums of money and some even celebrate the success they’ve chalked in the music industry with the numerous awards they’ve won.
However, this is in sharp contrast to what gospel artistes Nana Osei aka Nacee has revealed as his biggest achievement despite picking several awards with massive hits after hits songs.
Speaking in a celebrity interview with Central Music Awards 2019 Best Presenter Nominee, Amansan Krakye, of Radio Central fame in Cape Coast, Nacee said
“My biggest achievement as a gospel artiste is winning souls for Jesus Christ.
“I’m so fulfilled knowing that someone listened to my song and gave his life to Christ.
“You see all these cars, mansions, awards and stuffs are all vanity.
“The Bible says all these worldly things will fade away and it is only the word of God that will stay forever.
When Nacee was asked if it was proper for a gospel artiste to feature a secular artiste on a song just like he did ‘boys boys’ with Guru, he said
“You see as for me the only thing I’m against is using profane, nudity and vulgar words in songs.
“Apart from that who am I to judge someone just because you think the person does secular music.
“The Bible says those who think they are standing should be careful they don’t fall”.
Nacee is a topnotch music producer and award winning gospel artiste who has worked for almost two decades in the music industry.
