With these tracks, Asake grabbed the No. 1 and No. 5 spots on Apple Music’s Nigerian top 100.

Joeboy – Cubana

Joeboy’s new single “Cubana” arrives just as he prepares to embark on his first U.S. tour dates this spring. From April 27 (Miami Beach) to May 2 (Charlotte, NC), the singer will join Koffee on her The Gifted Tour, before heading out on his own for his headlining Young Legend Tour, which runs from May 4 (Philadelphia) through May 30. “This is definitely the most lighthearted tune I’ve ever released,” Joeboy says of “Cubana,” which serves as an appetizer for fans ahead of his Spring tour dates.

“I was in the studio trying to create a ‘heartbreak song ‘with my producer TYPE A, and there was this particular progression that was really vibey and trippy, and I just started playing around with it,” Joeboy recalls.
