Wizkid Named 2021 Best International Artist At The Just Ended ##MOBOAwards 2021
Highly decorated Nigerian Afrobeat star, Wizkid on the 5th of December 2021 was awarded the Best African Music act at the just ended 2021 MOBO Awards which was held in the United Kingdom.
Wizkid was in contention with Doja Cat, Drake, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Polo G, Rema, Skillibeng and Young Stoner Life (Young Thug & Gunna) for this enviable award.
The MOBO Awards is an annual British awards ceremony that celebrates achievements in “music of black origin”. The show honors the best of the best in Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African Music. The 2021 edition of the MOBO Awards was held at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021.
