Gyakie appears on New York’s Times Square Billboard
Buzzing Ghanaian female musician – Gyakie has chalked another incredible success as she appeared on New York’s famous Times Square digital billboard.
In a post on her social media handles, the ‘Forever’ hitmaker shared a photo of the Spotify billboard with the caption, “We made it to Times Square”.
The billboard promotes Spotify’s “EQUAL” playlists which features songs from the ‘fiercest women making waves’ all over the world.
Gyakie expressed her gratitude to Spotify for making her the cover for their ‘Equal Africa’ playlist. The playlist features Gyakie’s ‘Forever Remix‘ featuring Omah Lay, Amaarae’s ‘Fancy‘, S3fa’s ‘E Choke‘ and many more songs from other female musicians.
She wrote “I am deeply honoured to be the first African woman to be partner with @Spotify @SpotifySA for Equal. This is huge for so many women across the continent and the entire globe…”
