I have Dancehall songs – Gospel singer Hannah Marfo
The award winning Ghanaian Gospel singer, Hannah Marfo has disclosed that, she has recorded some new songs which are not within her preferred genre.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Nsem Pii, with host Pastor Nyansa Boakwa, Hannah Marfo revealed that she put together some dancehall songs due to the trend change in the music industry.
“The songs are more like gospel dancehall. I’m doing this because with the current trends, I need to put out something that the youth will patronize” she said.
By this, people can enjoy her songs like their usual dancehall tunes, but also derive inspiration and knowledge from them.
However, she added that she also does have lots of praise songs because with all that God has done for us, we cannot repay him, hence, this is the time to praise him more through these songs.
